Incorporated in 1911 under the laws of the state of Minnesota, the company operated a line from Deerwood to Moreland, and from Deerwood to Cuyuna-Mille Lacs Mine in Irondale Township, Crow Wing County, on the Cuyuna Iron Range, in Minnesota. It constructed an additional line from Deebee Junction to Duluth-Brainerd Mine and from Loerch to Woodrow, Minnesota. The company was conveyed to NP in 1914.
